Using Budget Studio

Budget Studio provides an authorized user with a private workspace for business budgeting, project planning and related reports. The operator grants authorized users a limited, non-exclusive right to use the service for their business planning. Access may be limited to approved accounts.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining your account security, using the service only with information you are authorized to access, and checking the accuracy of entries, calculations and reports. You must have permission to enter information about other people and to connect any third-party account.

Connected services and your data

Google, Clerk and other connected services have their own terms and privacy practices. Google authorization enables the app to access spreadsheets according to the permissions granted; budget data may be saved in the connected workbook. You remain responsible for your source records and workbook permissions. Nicole manages copies of the yearly workbooks in her Google Drive. The app does not transfer ownership of your business data to the operator.

QuickBooks Online production access is not currently available. If it is added, an authorized QuickBooks user will need to grant access, and the operator must update these terms and the privacy policy to reflect how it works.

Planning information and AI

Budgets, forecasts and AI-generated recommendations are planning aids and may contain errors or omissions. They are not accounting, tax, legal, investment or other professional advice. Review them and consult an appropriate professional before making decisions. AI recommendations are generated when requested and do not automatically change the budget.

Availability and ending access

The service may change or be unavailable during maintenance, outages or third-party disruptions. The operator may need to suspend access to protect the service or address unauthorized use. Users can manage connected-service permissions through the relevant provider; disconnecting an integration does not automatically erase saved records.

Contact [email protected] for support or to request correction or deletion. A workspace administrator handles requests manually and reviews the app-managed workbook history and known backups. Nicole manages copies of the yearly workbooks in her Google Drive. Budget information stored in Google Sheets can be accessed through the connected workbook. Disconnecting the app or ending access does not automatically delete the workbook or its copies.

Changes to these terms

The operator may update these terms as the service changes and will make the current version available in Budget Studio. Any applicable notice or other rights are governed by law.
